Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy
(EFT) is a highly researched and the most effective form of couple’s therapy that addresses core questions we often have about our intimate relationships: “Do I matter to my partner?”, “Will my partner be there for me when I need him/her the most?”
EFT therapist helps partners to understand and experience their emotions related to their partners, enable partners to view the interactional negative cycle as an enemy and fosters the creation of a secure bond between partners. The relationship becomes a safe haven and a healing environment for both partners.
EMDR For Trauma, Abuse, Fears, Childhood Deprivation
EMDR (Eye -Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a comprehensive psychotherapy approach that alleviates the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder and emotional problems related to developmental trauma and non-secure attachment. EMDR is successful in treating following conditions: complicated grief, disturbing memories, phobias, pain disorders, performance anxiety, stress reduction, addictions, sexual and/or physical abuse, body dysmorphic disorders.
When a traumatic or distressing experience occurs, it may overwhelm normal cognitive and neurological coping mechanisms. The goal of EMDR therapy is to process these distressing memories, reducing their lingering effects and allowing clients to develop more adaptive coping mechanisms. This is done in an eight-step protocol that includes having clients recall distressing images while receiving one of several types of bilateral sensory input, including side to side eye movements.
EMDR is a powerful approach that brings deep and lasting integration and health to those who are ready to address their adverse past experiences so they can live more happily in the present.
Individual Therapy And/Or Coaching For Relationship Difficulties
Helping clients to understand their attachment style , working model of self and others that stands in the way of healthy and fulfilling relationships. The goal is to facilitate cognitive and emotional shifts toward positive self-assessment “I am good enough” and more secure attachment model “Relationships are safe. I can give and receive care and comfort”.
Treatment For Narcissistic Abuse
There is a lot of healing required for people who were parented by narcissistic parents or have been repeatedly involved in relationships with narcissistic individuals. People with narcissistic traits are known for targeting intelligent, self-sufficient, empathic individuals as partners. They tend to lack core identity and need narcissistic supply to fill their empty psyches. I am helping clients to heal broken bonds, adopt “no contact policy”, and most importantly to re-invent the sense of self and self-love.
8 – Week Mindfulness Based Cognitive Group Therapy For Anxiety, Depression, And Stress
Eight-week Mindfulness Based Cognitive group Therapy (MBCT) is a unique approach integrating mindfulness meditation practices with traditional cognitive therapy and neuroscience research. MBCT is empirically validated group treatment program that teaches how to break through the cycle of negative thoughts and behaviors that can keep us in repetitive patterns of depression and anxiety. This innovative program helps to decrease worry, stress, substance abuse, emotional eating, relationship challenges, and intensity of grief responses. This eight –week program will offer practical tools that can lead to greater emotional balance and well being.
Couples workshop: One day workshop is offered for couples to learn about the “new science of love“ – the research of last 20 years on human bonding and relationships. Couples will learn why relationships succeed and fail; how to create satisfying marriagies; identify and change a “relationship dance”; how to stop fighting and emotional distance and new tools to love mindfully.
The Art Of Happiness Workshops
The Art of Happiness workshop: The workshop is offered for anyone who is interested in new findings in psychology of happiness and neuroscience and its application in mood regulation. Participants will learn about the emotional habits of happy people and characteristics of the joyful mind. Participants will understand the neurobiology of happiness. Participants will directly experience the effects of focusing attention on wholesome states of mind and will leave with a personal “action plan” for developing positive emotional habits.
