Hi, Dear One

I’m Ivona Bhadha, LCSW

For more than 20 years, I’ve been helping adults, couples, and families in West Palm Beach and Boca Raton heal from trauma, strengthen relationships, and find balance when life feels overwhelming.

I believe that every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and flourish. My role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your strengths, release old patterns, and create a life that feels safe, secure, and authentic.

Specialties

  • Anxiety & Depression

Anxiety and depression are complex emotional challenges that can manifest differently in each individual. By providing a safe and empathetic space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, we can work collaboratively to develop coping strategies and interventions tailored to their unique experiences, ultimately helping them find relief and build resilience.

  • Grief & Loss

Grief and loss are profound and natural emotional responses to the experience of losing someone or something significant in one's life. As a therapist, I aim to support my clients through the grieving process, helping them navigate the complex emotions, adjust to life without what has been lost, and ultimately find ways to honor and remember their loved ones or what once was, while also fostering healing and growth.

  • Codependency

Codependency is a relational pattern where individuals excessively rely on each other for their self-worth and identity, often to the detriment of their own well-being. Through therapy, we explore the underlying causes of codependency, work on establishing healthy boundaries, and promote self-awareness and self-empowerment, helping clients foster more balanced and fulfilling relationships.

  • Trauma

Trauma can profoundly impact an individual's mental and emotional well-being, often leaving lasting scars that affect their daily life and relationships. In therapy, we create a safe and supportive environment for clients to process and heal from their traumatic experiences, utilizing evidence-based approaches to help them regain a sense of control, resilience, and a renewed sense of self.

  • Substance Abuse

Substance abuse is a complex issue involving both physical and psychological dependencies on drugs or alcohol. In therapy, we work together to explore the underlying causes of substance abuse, develop coping strategies, and provide a non-judgmental space for clients to regain control over their lives and build a foundation for lasting recovery.

  • Internal Criticism

Internal criticism can be a powerful and distressing force, leading individuals to harshly judge themselves, erode their self-esteem, and hinder personal growth. In therapy, we aim to identify and challenge these self-critical thoughts, fostering self-compassion, self-acceptance, and healthier self-talk, ultimately helping clients develop a more positive and nurturing relationship with themselves.

“We are not in need of fixing, we need to be cared for and deeply understood
